I Love Teaching Life Drawing
Hi Everybody!
I'm just back in from teaching life drawing and I love, love , love it! By the way, my enthusiasm is contagious so if you are the cumugin type of person you might want to log off... All of my hard work for the past 3 years is paying off in wonderful and unexpected ways.
A big reason for my continued progress and successes is that I have distanced myself from superficial people and have opted to spend my time with good, sincere people. Being completely dedicated, staying focused and nurturing a fun, positive spirit, while creating fresh work is so much more satisfying than running around in circles over the wrong guy. I really do understand what is truly important and what is pure fluff now. This is such a great time now :)

Progress is a Cool Thang! (Texas twang in progress...)
Hi everybody,
I am having a great time of it now back in school for Video Game Art and Motion Graphics and have gotten so much better at time management and patience. I'm the Art Lead on my art team at school and we are busy building game assets for our boss group from another class- the Design team. It's really fun as we get prepared to graduate in August, how to think and plan effectively on such things as deliverable milestones...
All of this can also be used minus the 3d modeling part, in any goal planning including fine art. Gather reference, set a schedule, follow through. I like this amazing thing called being organized and also working in 2D, 3D, and teaching Life Drawing and Painting classes every week. It is such a great feeling to look back a few years and compare it to now. Hands down- Progress, growth and learning new art skills is the bomb!

Challenge Your Artist self !
Sometimes new things work, sometimes they don't. Roll with it and challenge your routine if you get stuck in a creative block. What are some ways in which I challenge myself as an artist? I learn new media. This helps me from becoming complacent and also helps me focus. Then when I go back to either oil or acrylic painting, I have fresh eyes and bring new ways of seeing and thinking to the table.
